    Jeff Wayne

    Composer / Arranger / Conductor / Producer

    Born in Forest Hills, New York but residing in England for now over 2/3rds of his life, Jeff Wayne is an award winning composer, arranger, conductor and producer including for stage, film, TV, radio, records, advertising and interactive projects.

    His writing and production credits include:
    The Who, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Catherine Zeta Jones, Richard Burton, Anthony Hopkins, Russell Watson, Rhydian, Jason Donovan, The London Symphony Orchestra and Choir, Justin Hayward (Moody Blues), David Essex, Phil Lynott (Thin Lizzy), Human League, Orbital, Todd Terry, N-Trance, Dario G, Hybrid, Croatian piano virtuoso Maksim, Kerry Ellis, Ricky Wilson (Kaiser Chiefs), Marti Pellow (Wet Wet Wet), Joss Stone, Maverick Sabre, Alex Clare, Carrie Hope Fletcher, Brian McFadden (Westlife), Joseph Whelan, Gary Barlow and Liam Neeson as well as ITV’s ‘The Big Match’, ‘The World of Sport’, The World Cup, BBC TV’s 60 Minutes, TV-am/Good Morning Britain - the UK’s first breakfast TV station), and LBC, the UK’s first 24-hour radio news station.

    Jeff’s music has also been performed to by jugglers, dancers, ice skaters, magicians, fire-eaters, animals, ‘Ali G’ on the 2005 MTV Awards plus Pendulum’s performance on The Pyramid stage at Glastonbury-2012 sharing top-of-the-bill status with Beyoncé, as well as gymnasts at the 2012 London Olympic Games and Pixie Lott on 2014’s Strictly Come Dancing.

    Jeff has also created and published The Book of Tennis and its 8-part TV spin-off series ‘The Book of Tennis Chronicles’ seen in many countries and distributed by Fox Sports.
    Tennis has been part of Jeff’s life from age 5, including captaining and playing No 1 for his high school and college teams. Today he captains Hertfordshire County Men (12 National titles and counting!), is a member of the International Club of Great Britain, has won national Veteran Singles and Doubles titles and represented Great Britain twice.
    Pro-am tournaments include for Muscular Dystrophy, Olympic Games and Save The Children, and is a long-standing Patron of HAD (Hertfordshire Action on Disability) and a Vice President of the LTA Dan Maskell Trust.
    Jeff and Geraldine live in Hertfordshire and have four children: daughters Anna-Marie - an actress and producer; Jemma - an author and journalist; and sons Zeb – a musician and DJ on the international club scene; and Joab, who graduated from Birmingham University in philosophy, and now studying Law in London as well as being a former touring tennis player.

    Liam Neeson

    George Herbert, The Journalist

    Liam Neeson is an award-winning actor who has been internationally recognized for his work in both major studio blockbusters and acclaimed independent features. Neeson received Academy Award, Golden Globe Award, and BAFTA Award nominations for his performance as Oskar Schindler in Steven Spielberg's 1993 Best Picture Oscar winner Schindler's List.

    Three years later, he played the title role in Neil Jordan's biopic Michael Collins, earning another Golden Globe nomination and winning an Evening Standard British Film Award and the 1996 Venice International Film Festival's Volpi Cup for Best Actor.

    Mr. Neeson garnered his third Golden Globe nomination, an Independent Spirit Award nomination, and won a Los Angeles Film Critics Association Award for his portrayal of Alfred Kinsey in Bill Condon's Kinsey (2004).

    He has most recently been seen on-screen in Peter Landesman's Mark Felt; The Man Who Brought Down The White House, JA Bayona's A Monster Calls and Martin Scorsese's Silence.

    Next up he star in Jaume Collet-Sera's The Commuter. Additionally he recently finished shooting Hans Petter Moland's Hard Powder and is currently filming Steve McQueen's Widows. Mr. Neeson has appeared in over 70 films, including the blockbuster Taken trilogy; Joe Carnahan's The Grey; Bille August's Les Misérables; George Lucas' Star Wars: Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace; Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins; Richard Curtis' Love Actually; and Martin Scorsese's Gangs of New York.

    Mr. Neeson made his Broadway debut in 1993, receiving a Tony Award nomination for his performance in the Roundabout Theatre Company's revival of Eugene O'Neill's 1921 drama Anna Christie. He also received a Tony nomination for Arthur Miller's The Crucible and was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) by Queen Elizabeth II in 2000. He is a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and a proud father of two sons.

    Jason Donovan

    Parson Nathaniel

    Jason Donovan was born into a show business family in Melbourne Australia on 1 June 1968. His good looks and talent made him a natural on Australian TV. He took on his first TV role at the age of just 9 years old!

    His big break came with the role of Scott Robinson in the primetime soap ‘Neighbours’ which turned him into an international star gaining every Australian major award including Most Popular Actor. The series went onto to become one of the highest rating shows in the UK which led to Jason’s huge chart success within the PWL Pop era. His debut album ‘Ten Good Reasons’ was the biggest selling album of 1989 with sales of 1.5 million including the duet ‘Especially For You’ with Kylie Minogue and ‘Too Many Broken Hearts’ which contributed in the impressive world sales of 13 million albums and 4 UK No. 1s. Music was always a constant in Jason’s career and in particular he shone in his portrayal of Joseph in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s production of ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ at London’s Palladium in 1991 selling out an 18-month run, plus a number one single and best-selling soundtrack album.

    Jason has gone on to star in The Rocky Horror Show, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Priscilla, Annie Get Your Gun, Sound of Music, The King’s Speech and Million Dollar Quartet. On television he has featured in I’m A Celeb (2006) and Strictly Come Dancing (2011), Who Do You Think You Are (2011), ITV’s Superstar (2012) and Piers Morgan’s Life Stories (2012)

    In Feb 2016, Jason embarked on his Ten Good Reason’s tour, his first for 8 years. Jason and his band played 41 sold out dates throughout the UK and a plethora of 80s festivals in the UK and Europe during the summer. From Feb – May 2018 Jason goes on his own Jason Donovan and His Amazing Midlife Crisis tour, taking in 47 dates around the UK. Jason is delighted to be joining The War of The Worlds company once more, reprising his role of Parson Nathaniel for the 2018 Tour.

    Newton Faulkner

    The Sung Thoughts of The Journalist

    Newton Faulkner is an multi-platinum selling, Brit Award nominated, singer-songwriter and musician from Reigate, Surrey, England. He is known for his powerful singing and dynamic percussive style of guitar playing.  He has released 6 albums, including two No. 1 albums and numerous singles; including the hit song “Dream Catch Me”.  His latest album, “Hit The Ground Running”, was released in 2017 to critical acclaim accompanied by a sellout headline solo UK and European tour.

    Faulkner has performed at several major UK summer music festivals including Glastonbury Festival, V Festival, Connect Music Festival, Radio 1's Big Weekend, Lollapalooza in Grant Park, Chicago, Oxegen in Ireland and at the Isle of Wight Festival.   He also played the part Johnny in the Greenday musical "American Idiot" which had a 3 month run on the West End in London.

    Adam Garcia

    The Artilleryman

    After training at Kerry & Glenn Dumbrells' Capital Performance Studios in Sydney, David Atkins & Dein Perry kindly offered Adam a slight detour from the pursuit of biological sciences by taking him touring around Australia with the musical Hot Shoe Shuffle. The show carried him to London where he then went on to play in a number of West End productions including Fiyero in the multi-award winning Wicked and Doody in Grease. Adam also starred as Bill Calhoun in Kiss Me Kate and as Tony Manero in the smash hit musical Saturday Night Fever, receiving Olivier Award nominations for both roles. Adam has also appeared on stage in Where Do We Live at the Royal Court, as Chipin On The Town for the English National Opera and as Young Al in the play Birdy & the Foreman in Tap Dogs.

    Adam appeared on the West End as Lord Amadis in The Winter's Tale for the Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company alongside Dame Judi Dench and Sir Kenneth Branagh. He then went to Australia to star as Don Lockwood in Singin' In The Rain before returning to London to create Skinner/Gardener in the world premier of Kevin Elyot's final play Twilight Song & then to the West End to portray Father Karras in The Exorcist.

    In 1999 Adam returned to Australia to portray the lead role of Sean in Dein Perry's feature film Bootmen, before performing as the lead dancer in Dein Perry's Tribute to Industry section for the 2000 Sydney Olympics Games Opening Ceremony and in 2010 Adam headed up Tap Dogs in Sydney.

    Adam's feature film credits include Coyote Ugly, Riding in Cars with Boys, Love's Brother, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, Every Emotion Costs, Standing Still and Nativity 3.

    On television he has appeared in Dr Who, Miss Marple, Hawthorn, Perception, House, Flight Of The Conchords, 30 Seconds, Britannia High, Threesome and was most recently seen on ABC TV's award winning drama The Code & NBC's Camp & most recently Nat Geo's Genius

    Adam was also a judge on two seasons of Dancing With The Stars Australia for the Seven Network and four seasons of Sky 1 UK's Got To Dance.

    Nathan James

    The Voice of Humanity

    Nathan James is the lead singer and songwriter of British Rock Band Inglorious. He hails from Sonning on Thames in Berkshire. As a child Nathan was a member of the Berkshire Boys Choir and began singing regularly in public from the age of ten years old.

    Nathan’s career started in touring shows such as ‘Route 66’ an American Rock Music Show sponsored by Harley Davidson. His big break came when he landed a part in the UK and European Arena Tour of ‘Thriller Live’ the Michael Jackson spectacular. In 2012 Nathan was scouted to audition for the first series of ‘The Voice UK’ and made it to the last 100 singers in the country that year. Shortly after ‘The Voice’ he was chosen for Andrew Lloyd Webbers Television series ‘Superstar’ in which Lord Webber was searching for the lead in his hit musical ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’. Nathan made it through to the live shows finishing in fifth place.

    After ‘Superstar’ Nathan joined the multi-platinum ‘Prog Rock’ supremo’s ‘Trans Siberian Orchestra’ and travelled the US and Europe for 3 years performing to hundreds of thousands of people playing such venues as Hammersmith Apollo; the American Airlines Centre in Dallas; Bridgestone Arena in Nashville and even headlining the German Music Festival ‘Wacken’ to eighty thousand people. Nathan received two platinum records for his time with the band.

    In 2013 Nathan starred in ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ a UK theatre show celebrating the music of ‘Queen’. The show received great reviews and Nathan was involved in the casting and creating of the show with Producer David King (Spirit of the Dance). In 2014 he was discovered by Derek Shulman who discovered Jon Bon Jovi, Nickelback and Dream Theater to name a few. In 2014 Nathan signed a Worldwide multiple album record deal with Italian Label Frontiers Music SRL (Whitesnake, Toto, Journey). Since then his band Inglorious have released two albums and a DVD ‘Live at Donnington’. The band topped the UK Official Rock Chart in Spring 2017 with ‘Inglorious II’ mixed by legendary producer Kevin Shirley (Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, Aerosmith) who said that the band were “the best British band since, well I could say The Darkness but I really mean Led Zeppelin”. Inglorious have toured the World and played some of the biggest Rock Festivals including Download Festival, Hellfest and Monsters of Rock Cruise.

    The Band have had eight radio singles from two albums on Planet Rock Radio, the UK’s biggest rock station and in 2016 won their Best New Band Award and also Best British Single2017 for ‘Holy Water’ lyrics and melody written by Nathan. They have been described by Planet Rock’s Paul Anthony as “The future of British rock”

    Nathan’s other credits include singing for Scorpions guitarist Uli Jon Roth on both his ‘Scorpions Revisited’ album and a DVD filmed live at Sun Plaza, Tokyo, Japan. Nathan has also performed with Deep Purple vocalist/bass player Glenn Hughes, Steve Vai, Steve Morse, Bernie Marsden, Steve Hackett, Richie Faulkner and appeared in the Jack Bruce Memorial Concert, ‘An Evening for Jack’ with Lulu, Ginger Baker and Paul Young. Nathan was lead singer in the UK touring show ‘The Essence of Ireland’. and has performed with Kerry Ellis, Ruthie Henshall, Scott Alan and starred in ‘Movies and Musicals alongside Joe McElderry and Lorna Luft. He has recently guested on two albums recorded at the world-famous Abbey Road Studios, and has been involved at many corporate events for Landrover/Jaguar, Nestle and The Clothes Show Live.

    Anna-Marie Wayne

    Carrie, The Journalist's Fiancée

    Anna-Marie began her career at a young age appearing alongside Honor Blackman in the hit TV comedy series "The Upper Hand", and with Rowan Atkinson in "Mr Bean".

    From there she went on to study at The Guildford School Of Acting and upon graduating was cast in the lead role of Elisa alongside Adam Garcia at ICA, The Mall in London's West End.

    Further UK stage credits include playing the lead role of Laly in "Best Friends" (New End Theatre & Edinburgh Festival) and Roberta in "The Railway Children" (King's Head), as well as lead roles in "Slow Train To Izmir" (Southwark Playhouse), "The Rival Queens" (Union Theatre), "The Passing Out Parade" (Etcetera), and "The Crucible" (Electric Theatre).

    Anna-Marie spent 6 years living and working in LA where as well as countless short films and TV work, her feature film work included lead roles in "Disappearing In America" starring Mark Pellegrino, in the Edinburgh Festival award winning feature film "Spike", and in "Number One Longing, Number Two Regret", alongside Jenny Agutter.

    During her time in LA she also started her own Youtube channel in association with Maker Studios based in LA and Retribution films here in the UK of which she was both creator and host as well as regularly hosting for the popular "The Moms View" channel.

    She has been an ongoing part of the cast of her father Jeff Wayne's musical version of "The War of The Worlds, Alive on Stage" since it's first tour and is excited to be reprising her role of Carrie later this year.
