And here is what you have been waiting for - 'NEW' for 2005 and to be released towards the latter part of this year, this simply stunning and highly detailed scale replica of the awesome Martian Fighting Machine from Jeff Wayne's Musical Version Of The War Of The Worlds.

WONDEFUL!!!!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH TO THE JEFF WAYNE TEAM!!!!!!!!

Questions (asked at another site but will benefit here):

1) Is it prebuilt or model kit (build and paint yourself) (I prefer pre-made!!)

2) Pose-able legs?

Can't wait: a beautiful move on merchandising department's part: simply fantastic!

I dont have much news on this, but please bear in mind that this is only MY personal opinion on the model.

The model appears to be pre-built and would come attached to a base so from that the legs would not move. I may be wrong, but considering how fragile those legs would be you would not get it any other way.

Also remember, the image above is of the 'prototype' version and NOT the finished article.

The model looks great, but one thing! In the album art work the machines were not to big, but this one seems to be huge. Comparing it to the shattered big ben

it looks pretty close to the one we see in the cgi clip where it's walking. That one has quite a large heat ray funnel too.
