The poster only ever came with the 1979 LP Boxset.

I bought a box set version of the album in 1979. It has all the things you said it had ....... except for the 12" single.

The silver label on the box didn't mention the 12" single but told of all the other things included in the box set.

Was this just another version of the box set or was I unlucky that the 12" single was ommitted by mistake?

Hi there. I'm "common-invasion" from Germany. A big fan and also an avid collector of anything "War of the Worlds".

Some time ago I found this article on an online auction. It was an original SEALED Boxset. Slightly worn and faded but still wrapped up in it's original foil. The serial-number is, I am not kidding here: 00001.

Can anyone tell me what that may be worth ?

I also have another box-set which includes press-photographs and announcements, the double LP, double cassette and the picture-LP. Apparently a press release from 1978 handed out at the London observatory ?

Can anyone tell me more ?

Thanks guys !

Hi there.

It's me again after all those years. I am selling the above mentioned, sealed box-set on eBay at the moment. It will run-out on 25th December...

My collection has gone too big and further rare TWoTW memorabilia will follow.
