What is it that make me be able to listen to the album hundreds of times (almost daily at some points) and still not get bored or sick of it like I do with other albums/songs?

I think sometimes things just gel. The music can link you back to an event, an emotion, a better time. Not even consciously, it just makes you feel better about everything.
Maybe.
And yes, I know it was a rhetorical question, but its one I have pondered recently about certain songs/albums as well. |

Its when something is that good... and you will never get bored of it. These are a couple for me....
TWOTW Jeff's Spartacus Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon Pink Floyd - The Wall Thomas Dolby - The Flat Earth
If I need music these are always in my car, and get played on a regular basis... and I never get bored of them.

Aw shucks unless you want to buy a second-hand copy or pay silly money to a horder then it looks like it's out of print on Amazon.co.uk
Odd how I never knew he made a second album considering I'm in my forties. |

I have Spartacus... It's ok but not a patch on TWOTW...Similar in that you have parts played by Anthony Hopkins and Catherine Zeta Jones, very highly synth driven, lots of Roland D-50 if I'm right on this. Still well worth a listen! |
