Piana is actually laugh-out-loud funny in a few scenes, although I'm not sure if it's intentional or it's just my warped sense of humour coming into play. Look out for his mugging and leering at the breakfast table and the way he asks the paper boy 'What neeeeeews today?' with that strange look he gives him afterwards. Comedy gold.

You know, the facial hair kept putting me in mind of Vic and Bob's "Otis and Marvin" sketch from the 90s, where they had the false tashes.

I have to agree that I think this film is uber-poor and though it is entertaining for all the wrong reasons, I found it very hard work.

Having said that, that's just my opinion and I know it has some fans out there, so maybe you will be one of them!

Yeah, I can remember the tashes!! The journalist in the pendragon version`s tash looks like its gonna get up and walk off at any time! Maybe the person that did that is responsible for Terry Wogan`s Hairpiece?

If I were the tash, I'd get a new agent.

it really depends on your taste in films because i bought it despite of the negative feedback aswell, to me, the film is only worth watching to say you've seen it,(even though i've watched it 3 TIMES!) but certain parts are pretty cool,

live nerf says you may like it..i cant imagine why but y'know

WHY SO SERIOUS?

With all the antics at Heathrow at the moment I might be a bit delayed in getting my copy - and I believe I need to reserve an afternoon to see it...

Any point in getting the 5.1 rigged up for it??

Yes.  I saw it last night.  All three hours of it.  Three Hours.

My biggest question mark regarding the film: Why was book two condensed into 40 minutes when the initial (book one)  invasion took forever to happen?

Didn't see much of Putney or London in this either...
