I'm Glen, another from across the pond.

I'm a survivor of the "The First Invasion".

Believe it or not...I owe my survival to the Red Weed.

Gotta go now...It's time to take my medication!

I'm Phil,.....yet another from over there. I have been scaring myself with WOTW since 1978 when dad brought it home and still enjoy listening to it in a pitch black room by the blue light of the Mcintosh....i'm glad they found a meeting place for all us loonies.....

Cylinder here. 37 year old musician who lives in sunny Hertfordshire. I enjoy good music, good science fiction and good beer ! Have been a fan of WOTW since the day it came out. If anyone is interested, my WOTW exploits can be read in the features section of this website and Lee has lots of pics on his site too.

Are you Rob Wallace, Cylinder?
Welcome to the site!
The sounds like it was one helluva show. I would've loved to have seen it.

Here there ,

My name is Simon & Im 26 in June (birthday is a day before re-release date) & live in Nuneaton in central England, which isnt too far away from you Horsell . I work for UPS on the night shift, which is great, there are less people about in the night time to bother me.

I spend my spare time playing World of Warcraft while usually listening to music on my headphones, recently its been War of the Worlds blastin out of my phones (im gettin all excited about the re-release).

I also dwell on the Waroftheworld.com forum as SpiritOfMan

Thanks

Sim G

For some reason that's beyond me I couldn't log in to THIS forum and the other (wotw-online) so my dad tried and sent me his log-in......

I'm not Clive but Gordon.

33 years old and come from Paderborn in Germany

Jeff Waynes "TWotW" was my very first, very OWN LP. It is still in my posession as is the very same record-player on which I heared it all those years ago (1978).

It's great to be part of this forum finally !!

me name would be liam and i'd be from the bush that is shepherds. hence the marvellous football team i follow.

i likes me music. xtc are the toppermost of the poppermost. also stuff like diesel park west, kinks, squeeze, supergrass, blue nile, kirsty macoll, talk talk and at the mo kaiser chiefs are pretty cool.

i love me guinness. and me guinness loves me. but sometimes it can be a right bastard.

i love sandra lee.

i hate chelsea f.c and all associated with said club. peace to everyone else.

wotw album i heard when my big bro got it in 1978. i was 8 then and it scared the bejaysus out of me. remember listening to it on headphones one friday night then, with all the lights turned out and not playing it again for about 5 years. emotionally scarred. cheers jeff!

liam
