Hey All.

I`m Darren, 31 years old and live in Kent.

No real WOTW connection (apart from my surname, which is Wells), and I dont have a site of my own to promote, but I`m looking forward to the 5.1 re issue of the album.

Great site!!

Hi all.

I'm Peter and am probably the oldest member of the Forum at the tender age of 43.

Got to admit, I'm delighted that Jeff/Sony BMG etc has seen fit to re-master and re-release this awesome work.

I remember TWOTW on Vinyl back in 1978 when I first listened to it.

Since then I've purchased it three times, one on the first (un-remastered) CD back in 1989, then on Mini Disc (:blush and now on the format it deseves-Hybrid SACD.

It deserves airplay and to be a hit all over again.

Hi,

Martin, aged 30 and living near the Capital, and closer still to HG's birthtown of Bromley.

Have been drawn to the re-issue following my introduction back in 1978 - a very long time ago...

And I won't be feed to any Martians, promise!

Hey,
I'm Jan from Rüsselsheim/Germany. I'm 18 and got to know The War of the Worlds first when I played the pc-game some six or seven years ago.Shortly afterwards I read the book which I like very much. Since then I'm interested in all the WoW and H.G. Wells stuff.

Howdy, Y'all,

I reckon I may be the only Texan signing in to your forum! I am Stacey, 36, from San Antonio, now living in Dallas.  (Remember the Alamo!)  Love my home, the Lone Star state, but would really love to make it out to England someday.

Loved listening to TWotW album since the 1978 release.  I have never met anyone else from Texas who has ever heard of it, outside of my family - I guess we are sci-fi fans amongst cowboys!  If anyone needs travel advice on the tumbleweed turf out here, let me know!

BTW, love y'all's other contribution to world pop culture besides H.G. Wells - I am a big time Beatles fan, too!
