Fantastic Fireworks will deliver a spectacular Fireworks Display of Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of TWOTW in the West Midlands on 5th November 2005. The Martians will be invading Himley Park, near Kidderminster & Wolverhampton (West Midlands) when the stately home hosts its annual fireworks spectacular accompanied by music from Jeff Wayne's Musical Version Of The War Of The Worlds.

The event on November 5th will tell the story of mankind's struggle against the overwhelming might of the Martian Fighting Machines, with narration from the unforgettable voice of Richard Burton.

Gates for the extravaganza open at 4.30pm with the bonfire being lit at 7.45pm. The countdown to the fireworks will begin at 8.30pm.

Also present will be the "official" Jeff Wayne's Musical Version Of The War Of The Worlds memorabilia.

Councillor Charles Fraser-Macnamara, Dudley Council cabinet member for leisure, said:

"With a story that has fired people's imagination since the 1890s and music that has bewitched generations since the late 1970s, we could choose no better theme for our Guy Fawkes 400th Anniversary fireworks display".

"Jeff Wayne's Musical Version Of The War Of The Worlds is back at Himley by overwhelming demand. It has been choreographed with state-of-the-art pyro-technology and wizardry and will undoubtedly leave the audience elated, buzzing with excitement and wanting more."

Entry costs £6 for adults, £3 for OAPs and children under 16 and under 5's getting in free. A special family ticket for two adults and up to two children costs £15. Car parking is £3.

There will be free bus services laid on to Himley Hall from Dudley, Coseley, Sedgley, Quarry Bank, Brierley Hill, Halesowen and Stourbridge from 5.30pm.

Jeff Wayne’s Musical Version of The War of the Worlds, has become the biggest selling re-issue album of 2005. With sales of over 360,000 units since re-release in June and an amazing ten consecutive weeks in the top 10 album charts, The War Of The Worlds, has proved to be the smash hit album of the summer and in terms of sales and chart positions and has eclipsed many of the ‘much–hyped’ artist album releases over the last 3 and a half months including The Black Eyed Peas, Charlotte Church & The Magic Numbers. It has now also overtaken Paul Simon’s Graceland and REM’s Automatic for The People in the all time UK album sales Top 40.

The re-issued album has already been stunningly remixed in stereo and newly mixed in 5.1 surround sound, and remastered, and, since June, has been available in two formats, a strikingly re-packaged double CD, and a deluxe 7 disc Collector’s Edition package in a 12” x 12” 80-page hardback presentation book.

To satisfy demand, the remixed, remastered 2005 edition of the album will be made available by Sony BMG in a limited edition double vinyl package this Christmas. Strictly limited to 5,000 copies worldwide, the double vinyl will see only one pressing and will be released on 21st November 2005 to coincide with the re-promotion of the CD version of the album and will benefit from the heavyweight marketing campaign around this.

The limited edition double vinyl set will have all new artwork, restored and re-configured from the original double LP and be packaged in a deluxe double gatefold sleeve with a full colour, 36 page, 12"x12" booklet.

The Tracklisting will be:

1. The Eve of The War
